Maryland laws require visual lead inspection of residential rental properties built before 1978 in order to protect families and prevent lead poisoning in children. Lead poisoning happens over time from exposure to lead. Infants and children younger than 6 years are very vulnerable and lead poisoning can affect their mental and physical development.
We support Maryland’s efforts to prevent lead poisoning in children, by conducting visual lead inspection and helping rental property owners stay compliant. As a Maryland accredited lead paint inspection contractor, we can issue the following documents to landlords in order to certify that their property meets Maryland risk reduction standards:
- Full Risk Lead Paint Reduction Certificate
- Modified Risk Lead Paint Reduction Certificate
